Internet user privacy is of paramount importance to Tecumseh Group, Inc., and it's members. Tecumseh Group, Inc. uses members' e-mail addresses for forum activity notification, critical administrative notification and our third party mailing service (Message Forwarding Service, or MFS). The MFS is a targeted opt-in/opt-out service. By registering with the Tecumseh Group sites, members opt to receive messages from third party advertisers. Members can opt out of any or all of these notifications. Under no circumstance do we disclose the e-mail address or any other personal information of our members to third parties.

Cookies are small text files a web site can use (thousands of sites currently use them) to recognize a repeat visitor to it's site. Tecumseh Group's public sites do not require the use of cookies to operate, however, members must have 1st party cookies turned on in order to log in.

TO FORUM MEMBERS: No vendor or regulatory body is perfect. Please refrain from hasty judgements and non-factual assertions. Let's allow them (whose products and/or services are discussed in this forum) the opportunity to make mistakes. Those with established quality assurance procedures will use Tecumseh Group, Inc. information to develop and market corrections more quickly than ever before. Unbiased user evaluations is the best source of information a company can ask for.

TO VENDORS AND REGULATORS: Any vendor or regulator attempting to thwart open discussion of their product (or service), or to "take over" the forums with corporate "spin" or non-factual assertions will be "red flagged" by the relevant user community. They will also not be allowed to partake in any rating of products or services. Anyone found thwarting these rules will be dealt with sternly. In addition to various warnings throughout the "tips" pages, all product/service evaluation data is reviewed for irregularities including (but not limited to): 1) flow rate of new members from a chronological perspective 2) topical selections of new members relative to historical patterns 3) rating patterns of all products relative to historical patterns 4) type of new products added, viewed against member participation 5) new product ratings, as viewed against competitive products 6) statistical sampling for irregularities in ratings (by members or products).

Vendors/Regulators are the organizations whose products and/or services are discussed on the public forums.

Vendors and regulators can participate in any of the following ways:

They (their technical representatives only) can log-in as a member and become part of the technical discussion forum (like any other member). The member registration form is clearly labeled with a box for them to identify themselves. By enabling this box, they will have full functionality of the page with the exception of being able to rate products or services. ALL member identities are confidential, as members are known only by their "handle."
All products and services discussed on the TipMaster Sites are assumed to have registered and valid trademarks and copyrights of the companies that produce (or perform) them. Accordingly, every effort is made to keep all corporate and related product/service identities intact and accurate.
